This is one of the greatest movies made by Sathyan Anthikkad.This cinema deals with the problems of the unemployed youth with lots of good comic situations.Mohanlal as Ramdas & Sreenivasan as Vijayan had played their role brilliantly that no one can ever forget these characters. Dasan & Vijayan have been working as attenders at a private firm, but their behaviour to new manager throws them out.Then they tried cattle rearing, but this too was a failure. Then they tried to go abroad and one called Gafur(Mamukoya) helped them.But he cheated them and they were landed on Madras.There landing in the Madras caused an incident of failure in smuggling of an underworld giant(Thilakan). This makes a misconception in mind of thilakan that they are CID's. In Madras, with the help of Innocent they got a job in a firm , that too in thilakan's firm. This arises suspicion in thilakan's mind.Shobhana as their neighbour helps dasan & vijayan in several difficulties. At the end Dasan & Vijayan, though unknowingly, helps police to catch thilakan.Then dasan & vijayan got posted in tamil nadu police as CID's.
Frankly speaking, if u have not seen this movie it's a great loss for u..

This movie is purely dedicated to mammootty fans. Mammootty as Gulan Kunjumon as done a brilliant role.Through this movie he showed that he has the ability to perform comedy and dance.
Gulan's father(Innocent) is running a Thattukada in front of a 5star hotel in Kochi and the owners want to buy that place. But he refuses to give the place which was given to him by the real owner(Devan) of the hotel.So they resort to some harsh means.Knowing this,Gulan, who is running thattukada at Kozhikkode comes fro his father's rescue.He took the Bar of this hotel for lease and ruined the reputation of the hotel.
Sneha who is the daughter of the real owner of hotel comes to sell the hotel. She is doing so to rescue her father, but the present owners(kalashala babu), who is her friend doesn't want to sell it and tries to kill her.
But know gulan comes for her rescue and the rest is Gulan's play.
This movie is having some good comic situations but this movie reminds of a hindi film having almost the same theme with Govinda & Khadar khan in the lead.
After all it's a good entertainer for all sorts of people especially for children.

Karyam Nissaram

This is one of the best films( in 80's ) made by the great director Balachandramenon. The film deals with a small family of Nasir & Lekshmi and their two daughters(jalaja & pournima). Nasir is an advocate but he sticks to his principles greatly. Lekshmi is from a rich family and she shows the head weight too.They have had a love marriage. Their daughter(jalaja) falls in love with her Lecturer(Lalu alex) & marries him. Menon is having a workshop and a driving school. Pournima goes to his driving school to study driving and falls in love with him.Lekshmi opposes their love, but they decided to live together. Nasir plays the role of a good natured father brilliantly.But lekshmi initially can't accept her daughter's decision. Ummar, as nasir's neighbour is an ex-service man lives with her wife(sukumary). They are extremely depressed of having no children. Suddenly baiju appears as ummar's son but no one except nasir knows it. News of becoming a grand mother bring lekshmi back to pournima. The sudden death of ummar revolves the story.Lekshmi become suspicious that baiju is nasir's son. This breaks their family relationship and they separates. Finally menon took the initiative to reunite nasir and lekshmi and he succeeds.
This film is a perfect family entertainer of back 80's. With no villian and a good story with some comic situations this is a good movie to watch.
Balachandramenon had been excellent both as a director and an actor in this movie..Prem nasir is simply awesome as a loving father.
Every one should watch this family entertainer...

Thanks to Jhony antony for making such a great film with youngsters in lead.The film revolves around two youngsters( Vineeth & Vinu ) working at two different shops in a shopping bazaar.Vinu works at a home appliances shop and he is a great cricket player preparing for Ranji trophy.While vineeth works at Jagathy's finance company as cashier, he wants to go abroad & fell in love with bhama who is working at a travel agency opposite to his firm. Sandhya plays the role of jagathy's daughter who loves vinu.Bhama plays a good character role bearing the burden of her family , her family story is a tragic one for which jagathy is responsible.Her aim is pay off all the debts of her father and to make her brother an engineer.Sandhya even though born in a rich family, is depressed by the behaviour of her step-mother.
Both Vinu & Vineeth plays their role perfectly, difficulties faced by middle-class bread-winners.A new year party turns their life around and they had to even make a robbery.The rest makes the film awesome...
This is an excellent film from Jhonny which tells about family relationships, difficulties faced by middle-class people and maintains a good suspense too...Without any superstars this film is a trend setter with a good story told in a good pace... The climax is simply superb making the viewers to watch till the very end.It's a perfect entertainer.
I must say this film is a good refreshment to malayalam cinema with youngsters rocking their roles...

But he wants to study her from distance, so he uses his driver ( played by Mohanlal ).They intercahnge their roles, but its not long lasting. Misunderstanding occurs and Lisy loves Mohanlal thinking he is the real Dhavan. Simultaneously at Pappu's house M raju who is his leagal adviser wants to marry his daughter(Sorry, I don't know her name). He also have a plan to kill Pappu and to own his assets. Mukesh coming to know about this fraud pretends as Raju's brother and fall in love with pappu's daughter. Mohanlal and mukesh ties for their love and they succeeds

Vinaya prasad is the heroine. Jagadeesh a police inspector plays a humourous role.The film ends in a great style..
After all its a movie dedicated to those who like to laugh throughout the whole two n half hours..
